Keryn is a technical writer, editor, and public information specialist in addition to her operations responsibility.

She has been responsible for the daily operations of the firm since 2003, which includes project billing, partner-vendor relationships and managing the firm’s contracts.

Keryn provides quality assurance/control in preparation and coordination for all public information, environmental, and engineering documents, and NEPA compliance with environmental assessments and impact statements. She also produces support documentation required for federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Keryn’s passion is to ensure the firm’s operations run smoothly, accurately and efficiently, and to continue to make creative contributions.

Burt Bornstein

Brand Strategist & Creative Director

Burt is responsible for creating and developing the client's brand experience. He works closely with client executive teams and understands how the creative disciplines and process work to differentiate their story and value, reshape perception, attract wider audiences and demographics, gain better traction with stakeholders, improve market visibility and drive business strategy. Burt integrates his broad leadership experience, strategic brand marketing, advertising instincts, tiered narrative writing skills, honed over three distinct phases: In-Front-of-the-Camera, Behind-the-Camera, and Inside-the-Camera.

Burt's innovative thinking, outside-in perspectives and business savvy bring fresh ideas and insights, unusual concepts and compelling stories. His distinctive messaging and imagery style collectively work to revitalize, reinvent and reposition our clients for new growth opportunities. Burt's passion is transformation. To create a unique brand experience that will break through the noise, hype, fatigue and indifference. Amy focuses on public involvement and community outreach elements required for larger infrastructure projects. Her experience ranges from planning and design studies to construction completion.

She is involved with all aspects of public involvement and community outreach efforts, including project management, creative design and print production of project materials, coordination of public meetings and special event logistics, maintenance of project hotlines, distribution of project updates, all project documentation and project database management.

Amy’s passion is to provide unparalleled service to her clients, going above and beyond expectations.

Caprice provides in-house graphic design expertise that illuminate messages beyond the written word, captivating audiences on a visual level. In addition to her design specialty, she is involved in many aspects of public involvement and community outreach including copywriting, coordination of public events and project documentation. She also assists with firm marketing and strategic proposal efforts. Her passion is to see the power of communication in all forms stimulate positive growth and change.

Ken is a public involvement specialist with strong experience in public relations, sales, and marketing. Ken works with client agencies and construction contractors to communicate directly with residents and businesses during the project's construction phase. He is also responsible for responding to hotline calls from local communities across the state, preparing and sending weekly project updates via email, and on-going dialogue with businesses and residents on notification walks. His work in the field helps the firm better understand potential issues and address concerns as they arise, and preferably beforehand.

Jared Sterlace

Business Relationship Specialist

Jared holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University with a concentration in Marketing and Law, with experience in the Advertising industry in business development capacities. Jared is responsible for assisting KDA Creative leadership in the development and implementation of new and existing client and partner relationship strategies.

A key emphasis is to increase the firm's visibility within existing markets and expansion into new markets through greater awareness and participation in key sponsorships, strategic partnerships, networking events, conferences, community organizations, trade shows, and specific stakeholder initiatives. Jared is responsible for the firm's business relationship tracking system, provides support for project work, including public involvement and community outreach efforts.

Danny Darr

Architect, Educator, Project Manager

Danny is a registered LEED Accredited Architect, accomplished Project Manager and Educator, and resides in Denver, Colorado. He offers strong organizational and broad leadership experience, having led teams of engineers and designers through large, complex projects over several decades. Danny also offers over 20 years business management and product engineering experience managing large, complex multi-disciplined project teams, organizations and businesses.

In addition, Danny's has had budget and target objectives responsibilities with hundreds of consultants, from inception of design, through planning, final implementation and construction stages. He is adept at dealing effectively with senior management, city officials and clients. Danny is an excellent team builder, strategist, communicator and creative problem solver. His passion is building successful teams and organizations through effective leadership. He currently teaches Engineering Practice at the Colorado School of Mines.

Erin Rosar

Brand Strategist & Creative Director

Erin is responsible for providing KDA Creative clients with an unsurpassed presence in the online world. She focuses on delivering customized website design, targeted email communications, electronic polling and results, and other web services.

Her prior technical experience includes four years as an application support technician and quality assurance specialist for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University. Her responsibilities were to ensure consistent high-quality application functionality and design, and provide exceptional ongoing application support. Erin also provides volunteer support services for several non-profits in Northern Colorado as a publicity designer and web master. Her passion is color and design, and when paired with her experience in the digital world she sees limitless possibilities for what can be accomplished.

Torin M. Lee

Communication Specialist

Torin has had several incarnations within her 15+ year career, including campaign field worker, health educator, public relations representative, and employee engagement consultant. Both inside and outside corporate walls, her main focus has been to find creative solutions to make a difference with targeted stakeholders, as well as, the people for whom she works. Torin understands the modern worker, consumer and citizen, what their interests are and how they want to get information, all within the context of a fast-paced world littered with competing sound bites in and out of the workplace.

Her execution of compelling initiatives that persuade and influence is highly targeted and focused. She enjoys motivating those employees on the frontlines, proving how the power of inspired people works in any environment. In her leisure time, Torin enjoys travel, reading, hiking, mountain biking, including a recent trek through Nepal, CrossFit, nature walks, photography, volunteering and spending time with her husband, friends, family and soon-to-be friends.
